Description

JCC Camp Kingswood is a dynamic Jewish overnight camp that has provided life changing summer experiences for almost 100 years. Located on Woods Pond in southern Maine, boys and girls entering grades 3-11 enjoy unforgettable, fun summer experiences filled with sports, outdoor/adventure, water sports, visual arts, performing arts and special events and programs.

Campers develop independence, gain self-confidence, build individual skills and learn to work as teams, all while nurturing lifelong friendships and strengthening their Jewish identities.

Director

kingswood-director Director Leslie Zide has more than a decade of experience in JCC camping where she previously held the positions of Assistant Director at JCC Kingswood Camp and Assistant Director at JCC Grossman Camp outside of Boston. In addition, Leslie was also a Family Program and Community Coordinator for the JCC in Boston where she was instrumental in developing innovative family programs and engaging families in Jewish life. Leslie brings energy, enthusiasm and creativity to everything she undertakes. She can’t wait to see returning campers, welcome new campers and create an amazing camp experience each summer!
