Mini-Mission to Jewish Camp

Mini-Mission to Jewish Camp

Thousands of children and teens from our community are spending their summer at Jewish camp—building friendships, strengthening their Jewish identity, and experiencing the joy of Jewish life. At a time when Jewish connection matters more than ever, we invite you to experience that impact firsthand.

Join fellow Greater MetroWest lay leaders, donors, professionals, educators, and clergy for a day at Jewish camp in the Poconos on Wednesday, August 5.

Be a camper for the day! Travel by bus from Whippany to visit two outstanding overnight camps in the Poconos that serve our community.
The bus will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return by 6:00 p.m.

  • Hear from camp leaders.
  • Meet with colleagues from the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
  • Engage in a conversation with educators from camps, day schools, and congregational schools on Israel education, experiential learning, and opportunities for greater collaboration.
  • Spend time with our Greater MetroWest Rishonim (young Israeli emissaries) at camp.
  • See how Jewish camps are nurturing resilient, joyful young Jews and helping build the next generation of Jewish leaders.
  • There is no cost; kosher light breakfast, lunch and snacks are included.
