Supporting Teens and Camps This Summer
In light of the cancellation of many Israel trips and other unexpected changes, we’re here to help teens and families find meaningful alternatives for Summer 2025. We’ve also been working to support camps facing staffing shortages due to Israeli staff being delayed in arriving to camp and most camps are now all set with staffing.

Robust programs for teens through rising 11th graders a camp include the following:

  • Genesis at Brandeis University
    For high school students ages 15–18
    Apply by June 24 – Scholarships available

🌟 Teen Leadership

  • CLTC (Chapter Leadership Training Conference)
    For BBYO members who are rising leaders entering 10th and 11th grades

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Overnight LIT & CIT (Leader and Counselor-in-Training) Programs

One Happy Camper
Up to $1,000 for eligible new campers toward 150+ Jewish overnight camps and teen programs across North America

DESTINATION: Jewish Service Learning
Up to $800 toward summer service programs

RootOne
A national program providing vouchers up to $3,000 to eligible Jewish teens to travel to Israel and other international destinations on immersive summer trips

Passport to Israel
Up to $400 from Federation toward teen Israel programs for high school students

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

$750 RSJ Grants for first- and second-year participants from Russian Speaking Jewish families in North American overnight camps and teen travel programs

Rocker Family Overnight Camp Scholarships for eligible participants under 16 years old in North American programs

Work at Camp – day camp staff opportunities for rising 10th graders and up, overnight camp opportunities for graduating high school seniors and up
