Description

Berkshire Hills is a caring community where your child will make friends, gain independence and learn from a dynamic staff. Since Berkshire Hills serves about two hundred campers, our entire camp community develops close relationships. Older campers are big brothers and sisters to campers in younger groups while bunk groups and units are like immediate and extended families.

Berkshire Hills campers live in community according to eight core Jewish values- Integrity, Respect, Joy, Spirit, Acts of Loving Kindness, Repairing the World, Nature and the Connection with Friends-all while having an incredible summer of fun. Our top priority is to create a safe, supportive and loving environment for every child. Berkshire Hills campers thrive as a result.

Director

Adam Weinstein

directorAdam joined Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp in 2012 after seven years as the Executive Director of the American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey; the accrediting body for camps. Adam’s work with hundreds of camps throughout the region gives him an incredible perspective. Adam grew up in not for profit values based camping and is excited to be leading a vibrant values oriented camp with a rich history like Berkshire Hills. Adam believes that all children can learn from the Jewish values that are the core of the Berkshire Hills program and is committed to making Berkshire Hills a welcoming place for children of all faiths and backgrounds.
